Do you know Benidorm? Benidorm is known as "The Manhattan of the Mediterranean" for its large number of skyscrapers, the most in Spain and the most per square metre in the world, except for New York. Benidorm is one of the most important and famous tourist destinations in Spain and welcomes more than 5 million tourists from all over the world every year in search of sun, sand and fun. Benidorm is divided into two parts by the rocky point with the old castle and thanks to the mountains Puig Campana, Sierra Helada and Sierra Bernia it has a wonderful climate all year round. It has several (panoramic) viewpoints where you can marvel at the beautiful views of the sea and the city. As well as the famous Levante and Poniente beaches you also have the lesser known beaches which share the same beauty but are more hidden away such as Playa del Mal pas, next to Benidorm harbour, Cala Ximo and Cala de l'Almadrava where people looking for a place to relax and enjoy themselves. Benidorm has many activities for young and old, such as golf and theme parks like Terra Mítica, Aqualandia or Mundomar. And let's not forget Benidorm's nightlife, with its wide range of restaurants and its always bustling bars and nightclubs, where you can dance the night away and make Benidorm one of the most fun cities on the Mediterranean coast.
